Birmingham eye deal for United's Foster
![]() Birmingham manager Alex McLeish admitted Joe Hart would return to Manchester City next season as their No 1 keeper following Shay Given's injury. McLeish will approach Manchester United about taking Ben Foster on a season-long loan. Birmingham defender Stephen Carr has been banned for one match after admitting improper conduct in the derby at Villa Park and West Midlands police are still investigating a complaint that he used inflammatory gestures to rival fans. The St Andrew's club were charged for a failure to control their players and defender Roger Johnson has been asked to explain his comments about referee Martin Atkinson.
